Sizing

The most important measurement is the width W. Note that W is the curved distance around the widest part of the nail. It is not the straight distance between the dotted lines. Here are a couple of techniques for measuring W:

• Use a soft tape measure.
• Put some sticky tape on the nail. Place a mark on the sticky tape on both sides of the nail. Remove the tape and measure the distance between both marks with a ruler.
